As an example: Did you know?

The Township acquired, in 2025, land valued at $970,000.00. Not many residents do. These lands were acquired through resolutions of Council and came from 2 sources:

1. The Township took ownership of 8 subdivision lots in Peaks Village, provided as security to ensure completion of the required subdivision works, including roads.
2. The Township purchased land from the Catholic Dioceses in Calabogie to secure for future community service expansions.

Mayor’s Quarterly Report

If elected, I will implement and deliver The Mayor’s Quarterly Report live and on social media.

Reestablish an Office for the Mayor at the Municipal Offices

There currently is none. I will hold regular hours there and in Griffith to hear/meet residents.

Citizen’s Advisory Committees

As previously discussed, I believe the use of advisory committees will improve communications. (Town Hall meetings?)

Enhance Current Practices: Live Broadcast of Council Meetings, Mailouts, Website Etc.

Support our capable and knowledgeable staff in providing valuable information and maintaining vital media sources. I will encourage knowledge of, and cautious use of Artificial Intelligence where warranted and desirable.
